I KNEW YOU WOULD DO THAT!

Isn't just like our Human Nature to want to do the VERY THING we were told NOT TO DO?
You are NOT the FIRST person who broke a rule, in fact we have ALL broken many rules.  The most important rules we break are the ones God set forth in His Holy Word.  We get this common natural tendency through our first father and mother ADAM and EVE.  They disobeyed God by eating of the forbidden fruit in the perfect Garden of Eden.  Because of thier sin, they were spiritually seperated from fellowship with God (their spirit died).  God had told them they would die if they ate of the fruit, but like us, they pressed the forbidden link to see what would happen.  Nontheless, the rule was broken, and they had to be punished.  For them, it was a broken relationship with God and an emptiness of heart that would plague all of their decendents even to this present day.  God said they would DIE for their sin, and they did...and so has EVERY individual born since then!  There is NOTHING that can fill the void made in your heart for that place is reserved for God and God alone.  Mankind tries to dull the desire or need through many ways: denial, rejection of Biblical Truth, sinful indulgence, or they may even try religion and good works to satisfy the deep longing in their soul.  Again, the ONLY thing that can completly fill the emptiness within is a RESTORED relationship with God.  Since man had "fallen" into sin, he became uncapable of helping himself back out of the mess he was in, so God in His Mercy intervened on man's behalf.  God would extend His own Mercy anf Grace in the direction of man so that the relationship could once again be mended.  The way God did this was though sending Jesus, the Son of God to earth that He may become our substitute in death and be raised again to life to give us the promise of Eternal Life and an everlasting relationship with God!  Jesus did indeed come to earth, He lived His life without sinning even ONE TIME!  He offered Himself as our sacrifice on the cross and He died in our place on the cross of Calvary, He was buried and ROSE AGAIN from the dead!  He now offers to every person a renewed relationship with God.  When you turn to God from your sins believing that Jesus can and will save you from sin and hell, the Bible says that you are NOW SAVED!
