Congratulations to Students of Faith Baptist Academy!

On March 29th, after much preparation and fundraising, four students from Faith Baptist Academy joined over 500 teens for four and a half days of competition, Christian fellowship, praise and worship of the Lord, and good old-fashioned fun at the A.C.E. Regional Student Convention at the Wilds Christian Camp in Rosman, NC. Cody Carson, Cinnamon Carson, Megan Crosby, and Rebecca Carson each competed in at least seven event categories including academics, art, photography, music, platform, athletics, and woodworking. Our four students came home with thirteen medals and numerous finalist awards, among which were first place in puppet show, second in both woodworking and radio program, and four finalists in photography.  Faith Baptist Academy wholeheartedly thanks parents and everyone in the community who supported this effort with a donation, or by buying pizza kits, doughnuts, calendars, or a car wash! We also give a special thank you to Jorges at the framing studio in Bachelor Hill Antiques for the expert preparation of the students' photographs for competition.  Every one of you helped make it possible for these students and supervisors to attend and win for the glory of God!  We thank God for the opportunites He gives for these young people to develop skills and attitudes reflecting His standards of excellence as they live for Jesus!
